React's docs explain the blank page: if a component throws an error while rendering, React removes the whole UI. Open the console. It shows the error and the component tree where it happened. Fix that component (very often it's reading data that isn't there yet), and wrap risky parts of the page in an Error Boundary so one broken component shows a fallback instead of blanking everything.
What's the problem
Your React app shows a white screen, a part of it disappears, or the console shows red errors mentioning components, hooks or "Minified React error" in production.
Why it happens
- Rendering with missing data: reading a property of data that hasn't loaded. See Cannot read property of undefined.
- Hook mistakes: hooks called conditionally or in loops.
- Rendering an object where text was expected.
- A dependency update that changed behaviour.
- Production-only errors: environment variables missing in the production build.
How to fix it
- Open the console and find the first error and the component named.
- For "Minified React error #...", follow the link in the message or reproduce in development mode for the full message.
- Guard data access while data loads.
- Add Error Boundaries around parts of the page so a failure shows a fallback.
- Check environment variables are set for production builds.
- Check recent changes to the failing component and your dependencies.
What Preventionlabs checks
One click runs the full report on your domain. For this problem it shows whether your site loads, how fast, and where its redirects go; script libraries on your homepage with published security holes; every outside service your homepage loads scripts and files from. With Cloudflare connected, it also shows recent deploys and account changes, with their times. It doesn't run your pages in a browser, so open the browser console on the failing page to see the error itself.
Run your free reportYour first report is free, no card needed. Then A$50 a month, up to 10 domains. Read-only: it never changes anything.
