Free website health check

Updated 2026-10-17

Short answer: a real health check looks at more than whether a site loads: pages, security, email, DNS, the domain and speed. Preventionlabs' first full report is free, with no card needed, and takes about 15 seconds after one click.

How to check it yourself

  1. Add your domain at app.preventionlabs.com.au.
  2. Prove it's yours with one DNS TXT record, or by connecting Cloudflare. Only a site's owner can check it.
  3. Click once. About 15 seconds later the report is ready.
  4. Read the problems first: each comes with the evidence and what to do.

Why it matters

Most website problems don't announce themselves. An expiring domain, a broken email record or a file that should never be public all look fine from the homepage until the day they cause an outage, lost email or a breach. A health check looks at the parts you don't see every day.

Common causes

  • Changes made by different people: you, a developer, an agency, a plugin.
  • Renewals that quietly fail: certificates, domains, payment cards.
  • Old software and plugins that were never updated.
  • Settings copied from a template or another site without review.

What Preventionlabs shows

The free first report is the full report, not a cut-down version: up to 25 checks, 16 of which need only your domain, covering loading, redirects, HTTPS, uptime, pages from your sitemap, JavaScript errors, security headers, leaked files, outdated scripts, email records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), DNS, DNSSEC, domain expiry, search visibility and speed, plus WordPress and Shopify checks when the site runs on them.

Price

First report free, no card needed. Then A$50 a month, up to 10 domains.
